1 · Who we are

KYNAD LLC ("KYNAD", "we", "us") is an animal-nutrition and precision-poultry intelligence company at 5000 CentreGreen Way, Suite 500, Cary, NC 27513, USA. This policy covers personal information we handle through kynad.com, its contact forms, and email correspondence with us. Customers and distributors with a written agreement with KYNAD may also be covered by the terms of that agreement.

2 · Information we collect

Contact forms. Your first and last name, work email, company, and country. You may also give your role, weekly processing volume, the topics you are interested in, and a message. The form also records that your request came from this website.
Email. Your contact details and anything you include when you write to us.
Website logs. When you visit kynad.com, our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time.

kynad.com sets no cookies and loads no content from other companies' servers unless you accept analytics (see section 10). When you submit a form, your browser sends it directly to our customer relationship management (CRM) provider, Zoho. This site is intended for business users and is not directed to children.

3 · How we use it

To respond to your inquiry and manage the business discussion that follows.
To connect you with a KYNAD distributor or technology partner when that is relevant to your request.
To keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
To keep the website secure and working.

Submitting a form does not add you to a marketing list. If we send you product news, you can opt out at any time.

4 · Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business inquiries, on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, on our legal obligations, and on your consent where we ask for it.

5 · Who we share it with

Zoho Corporation, which provides our CRM and email, in its United States data center.
Netlify, Inc., which hosts kynad.com.
Google LLC, which provides Google Analytics, if you accept analytics (see section 10).
A KYNAD distributor or technology partner, when relevant to your request. Some of them are located outside the United States.
Our professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it.
A buyer or successor, if KYNAD's business is reorganized or sold.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

6 · International transfers

KYNAD is based in the United States, and Zoho and Netlify store the information described here in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information is transferred there. Where the law of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland requires safeguards for such transfers, our providers offer them: Zoho relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and Netlify participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, with Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. If you accept analytics, Google may process the information described in section 10 in the United States.

7 · How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: deleted 24 months after our last contact with you.
Customers, distributors and their contacts: kept for 7 years after the business relationship ends.
Business email: kept for 7 years.
Requests to stop contact or to delete your information: we keep only your email address and the date of the request, for as long as we need to honor it, and review these records yearly.
Website logs: kept by Netlify for 90 days online and up to one year offline.
Website analytics, if you accept them: kept in Google Analytics for 14 months, then deleted.

8 · Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. To make a request, email info@kynad.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9 · Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10 · Cookies & analytics

If you select 'Accept analytics,' KYNAD loads Google Analytics 4 to measure use of this website. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies and receive information about your browser, device, pages viewed, interactions and approximate location. We use this information to understand and improve the site. We do not load Google Analytics or send analytics requests before you accept. You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time through 'Privacy choices' in the footer. Google may process the information in the United States. We do not use Google Ads or advertising features in this implementation.
