Endogenous lipase in young animals is insufficient to fully digest the lipid fraction of starter and grower diets. Since lipids deliver roughly 2.25× the energy of carbohydrates, every fat droplet that escapes hydrolysis is energy that walks out of the house. LIPIX™ closes that gap.

LIPIX™ catalyzes hydrolysis of dietary triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol. The products are absorbed across the intestinal villi and enter the metabolizable-energy pool. Without sufficient lipase, the fat droplet simply transits the gut.
The endogenous-lipase gap — why young animals fall short.
Pancreatic lipase secretion in young broilers builds over the first two weeks of life. During the same window, lipid intake is rising — creating a digestive bottleneck exactly when growth demand is at its highest. Supplementing microbial lipase removes that gap.

Interpretation. LIPIX™ improved body weight by ~6% over control, halved mortality, lifted ADG by ~7%, and improved FCR by ~4.5%. Performance differential vs. the reference lipase was driven entirely by the LIPIX™ treatment — Reference Lipase tracked control on FCR and ADG.
